Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man
Ok, is it that I smoke? Is it that I love motorcycles? Is it the comraderie between a couple of friends? Well I don’t know what the hell it is, but to be honest, I really like the movie. Maybe it’s just the fact that it’s simple and entertaining. "Better to be dead and cool, than alive and uncool."
So Don Johnson and Mickey Rourke make this B style movie and most of the characters, at least the one’s that are their friends, are named after products, like Jack Daniels and well, them. It’s campy, the minimal special effects are pretty weak, the reality of the movie is weak, and according to IMDB trivia, Mickey Rourke attributed the movie to sending him into some sort of tailspin. You’d never guess from what I’ve written so far, that I’ve got it saved as ‘Don’t Delete’ on my DVR. HAHAHA.
